Unique experience for cruise passengers: Cooking Lessons
The passengers visited a mountain village where they attended a cooking class – they had the opportunity to make halloumi and olive pies as well as village bread using fresh local ingredients
While they placed them in the traditional clay oven to bake, the passengers gathered fruit from the orchard and helped prepare the lunch.
They then enjoyed their baked pies and a home cooked lunch using best loved Cyprus recipes.
At the end, the passengers helped prepare fried doughballs (loukoumades), a delicious local dessert.
